Ancient Spider and Phantom Nishoba are really there for "placeholders"; my group has some flyers and I just wanted to use the Nishoba. After playing this, I probably don't need the Hunting Grounds since I don't have a lot of creatures to take advantage of it.

Slight problems: one player hd a Zombie deck with Noxious Ghoul which effectively countered (unknowingly at the time) my Outpost and use of Night Soil (never got to the Force). Night Soils weren't too bad as they were still able to empty graveyards but I'd like to keep the Saprolings around :) Any ideas?

Glorious anthems... That usually handles the noxious ghouls...

As for the rest of the deck... I think Medallions could benefit you more than Diamonds... Then all your spells are cheaper...

Also, The new "Dawn Elemental - which I just got 4 of... :eek: :D
would be awesome...

If not Phantom Flock would ne be too bad... of course these all tie in with the anthems...

And if you don't want to run too many flying or anti-flying cards... Silklash Spider is always nice... even for a 2/7...;)

Oh - and I got 4 Thorn elementals for you if you need them... ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't enlightened tutor restricted? Or do you not care?

I love the green/white, btw.

Hmm, no Glorious Anthems. Do have a Crusade or two (or that threshold one) which will help the Outpost though not the Night Soil.

Don't think I have the Medallions either...

I do have a Dawn Elemental, I can throw her in.

Doh! I forgot the Tutor was restricted. I guess that opens up a slot :)

Cool about the Thorn Elementals... I looked at your Have list and have a couple other wants :)

The Enlightened Tutor restriction is just a way for WOTC to re-instate racism towards the the Aryian color...

Okay - I'll shut it now...

SPidey - i do have an Aven brigadier that does help your soldiers, and birds... though you don't really have any birds...

You might also consider Mirari's Wake which would be better than Anthem allowing you to come back faster after a geddon

Wake would be strong... the anthem was just cheap... Since you're running only 1 armageddon, it's up to you on the wake recovery theory... Knowing you only need so much mana to function - you can always hold land.

To use the wake best - throw in 1 or 2 more armageddons..

I was going to build a Bird/Soldier deck later :)

No Wakes, but that's what the Orb is for... also Limited Resources (which pretty much stops everyone cold when there's four players). However, all of this makes me a target, so I've learned not to put any of this stuff actually down until I get a Muse. Which means I should probably put Worldly Tutor in place of the second Enlightened Tutor.

Well, I think it'd be good for a Soldier deck but not sure here. Really, the Outpost and the Night Soil are there to keep my Worship effective.

Maybe I should put in Overrun though...

well if you are just looking for temporary boost Warrior's Honor is less mana intense than Overrun. You might consider Elamdri's Call instead of the Tutor.

No Call...

I was thinking of the Overrun as a finisher, once I get a small horde of little guys out. 4/4 tramplers would probably be enough to wipe out my opponents, if not bring them pretty low...
