Monsters, Inc.

Good clean entertainment. If your idea of a good time is a movie with a lot of violence, blood, guts, and vulgarity, than don't bother. However, if you enjoy a light hearted, feel good movie with a decent story, plot, and moral, than I would highly recommend Monsters, Inc.

Personally, I think they have outdone Toy Story. At the very least, they have matched their sucess. The short "For the Birds" was cute, but was nowhere near as good as the Chess Game from Toy Story.

Oh, and the trailer for Star Wars: Episode II, what was that about? It's got about five short 2 second clips from the movie, but they seem to be more interested in showing you the title. I was really looking forward to this trailer and was seriously let down.

So, go see Monsters Inc. Well worth the price of admission. Take your family (those that have one) or a date. Not a male bonding flick.

I haven't seen M'Inc. because I don't really care to, and I don't have a theatre nearby.

I saw the trailer online and it was as dull, boring, and unstimulating as I expected.

I wonder if they'll even bother with the next one...even the Die Hard Warsies must be startin' to squirm by now.

Wanting to see Monsters, Inc. :) Will probably see it this weekend, Sunday more likely than not. (Btw, are you gonna be at States, Ericbess?) I really enjoy what Pixar can do with its animation. For someone who truly loathes almost all things not live action, Pixar has really managed to get me a BIT more open about it all.

I was watching E's "the making of monsters inc.", and it was actually interesting how new programs had to be invented just for this movie, so i might shell out 5-7 bucks to see it.

I own copies of Toy Story and Toy Story 2. I like what Pixar can do with Animation. I am really looking forward to taking my grandaughter to it. It should be great.

Definitely seeing it with the wife. It's the first movie I've wanted to see in theaters for a while (the next is Harry Potter). Pixar just hasn't missed the mark yet when it comes to animation and storylines for them :)

Zadok - I will be at States, but I don't know yet if I will be in Seattle or in Portland. I need to hear from Paul first. Problem is, if I go to Seattle, that leaves only 1 judge in Oregon running the whole thing. He has some experienced volunteers behind him, but no other judges. Still, I had previously commited with Paul, so if he asks me to come to Seattle still, I'll be there.

I will be there for sure the next weekend for the QT.

It's a really good Kid's movie.

it has humour and understanding in it that many movies doesn't have.

It also has a little girl that says "Kitty" and "Mikazowski" really cute.

Be on the lookout for a parody of Gallagher and(I cannot confirm nor deny this, as it went by very fast) what might be a monster with a Power Dome on.

I saw it last weekend because I'm a fan of animation(for the most part... especially CGI, and especially Pixar), if you go for that Star Wars trailer you'll be disappointed(the people in my theater were laughing at the title, just as I had expected...). Anyway Monsters Inc. is good, though not as good as either Toy Story(although I'm a bit biased, as a toy collector). There were a few jokes in there which no one else seemed to pick up on here(a reference to a certain famous monster movie maker and a reference to a certain hot dog commercial for two examples, I don't want to say any more and ruin the jokes for anyone). The characters are pretty good too, with my favorite being Randall(just about every scene he was in was great).

I just saw this movie too over the weekend and it was awesome! It wasn't really the same as the Toy Stories; it had a different focus. But it was just great.
