I changed this deck (the original build focused on Zombies using Gempalm Polluter and Shepherd of Rot) because of the recent increase in control-style decks being played in my area. A lot of these decks simply play a land and end their turn, so discard should be very disruptive to these strategies.

My only concern is that I won't have anything to do once my opponent's hand is empty. I have Soul Foundries, but I want to imprint a Ravenous Rats on it so that I can get instant-speed discard. This can also produce an infinite amount of sacrifices for a Carrion Feeder.

Creatures:

2x Twisted Abomination
2x Hollow Specter
2x Cabal Interrogator
4x Withered Wretch
4x Ravenous Rats
4x Festering Goblin
4x Carrion Feeder

Sorceries:

3x Persecute
4x Wrench Mind (Necrogen Spellbomb? Necrogen Mists? Mind Rot?)
4x Blackmail

Artifacts:

3x Soul Foundry
2x Extraplanar Lens
4x Chrome Mox

Land:

18x Swamp

Please comment. Thanks much!

you're missing duress...

you may also not want to worry as much about creatures, and run something along the lines of creature control, dark banishing, etc...

Duress isn't in T2 anymore. I would suggest Promise of Power and Phyrexian Arena, and SB the Persecutes.

Again... reading everything would help...

The arenas would help...

Necrogen Spellbombs maybe?...
