It's interesting. I've tested it against Fires and it just dies to Saproloing Burst the same as anything else. If no Saproling Burst comes out it can sometimes compete with Fires for damage but Fires has blocking and tricks, espicially the versions that still run River Boa.

In short, you need to splash another colour. Something with instant speed enchantment kill, some way to remove or bypass blockers for your final Fallen Angel attack, and maybe an answer to Blastoderm.

Disenchant
Parallax Wave or Reverant Mantra
Defiant Vanguard or Cho-Manno (or some black regenerator dude!)
Possibly that Living Deathy kinda thing out of invasion to bring back a load of your creatures for even more Fallen Angel fun!

I'll be posting a revised deck listing once I've play tested it. Once it beats Fires I'll test it against Skies.

I really think Fallen Angel can do things in this environment. ;)

I agree. IBC has a black fourth turn kill

Turn 1: Maggot carrier (19)
Turn 2: Sinister strength, attack (15)
Turn 3: Sinister strength (Or maniacal rage), Maggot carrier, attack. (7 or 8)
Turn 4: Now, just an attack will win. Not counting spells played.

In t2:
Turn 1: Ritual, Maggot carrier, sinister strength (19)
Turn 2: ritual, maggot carrier, rampart crawler, Sinister strength, attack (11)
Turn 3: Sinister srength/maniacal rage/giant growth and attack for the kill.

Yes, that was a third turn kill. Faster than fires.
