You can get an infinite damage combo going with Mogg Maniac, Justice and Pariah by damaging the Maniac with Pariah on it, processing the Maniac's ability, processing Justice, using Pariah so the Maniac gets damaged instead of you, etc. (I think this works). The mass damage spells are good with Repercussion and the Maniac, and Pariah on a Glittering Lion is good as well. If your opponent is playing red, Nomads en-Kor + Justice will kill them outright. Worship is good due to the fact that despite the strange combos this is really a defensive deck.

You didn't misinterpret the cards but you misinterpreted the rules regarding the cards. Each replacement ability only occurs once for each effect, so if you start with the Maniac and loop around it'll end at the Maniac.
