dang, I was thinking, we need to do stuff like that here...I think I have an idea, but might not get that much attention as it would involve Sloppy Shuffle-style images if I started it off. Is there any way to get original images of tournaments?

Or heck...maybe doing the caption thing for card art might be fun...that way we aren't committing lible.

Well, the problem with the ]img] tag is that some people abuse it.

Misetings is an adult forum-- Under 18 is supposedly not allowed; thus, if anyone posted a pornographic picture, they'd probably be warned, but not kicked off.

This forum, however, is aimed at anyone who likes to play Magic casually.

Legally, since three years or so ago, that's thirteen and up.
We've had (and I believe have still) several people who do not meet the eighteen and up criterion, but are still very intelligent people. If img was allowed, the CPA could be held liable for the abuse of it.

Make Sense? Why the attachments are now allowed for non-mods, I also do not know... But I kinda am glad they are, as long as they're used when nessissary or appropriate.

The best place to get pictures of tournaments is without doubt, sideboard.com's event coverage. They usually have a picture section. If you search in the Atlanta events, you'll even find one of me! :eek: I'M On Wizard's Site!

Well...that was...interesting. I guess this is why I would never be invited to an Invitational...I'm far too sane...I know the captions were supposed to make them look tongue in cheek, but would you take any of those folks seriously...

I don't know why either... Ed just kinda turned it on when he did the last upgrade without telling the rest of us, but I guess it's because most of us are responsible and it's easy right now to warn or ban those who might abuse it.

I mean, if people can behave, seems totally alright to have it open for use. Even if people misbehave, not like it should be difficult to permaban their IPs or something. Not like we draw the attention to warrant an invasion by Phyrexia.com like MTGNews did anyway. :rolleyes:

Real cards yes!!! Blue Hair - I hope not... My personal favorite is Neon Pink, swirled with a Neon Green, and spotted with a bright purple...

There really should be a rule about how bright hair colors can legally be. Finkel clearly uses it as a pyschological weapon against people who forget their sunglasses.

ESPN2 could have the Porn 'n' Magic World Championships... I bet you the "bone flute" would be a popular main deck card...:eek: ;)
