Nah, since I could only get you down to 11 at best anyway.

I think I blew my timing early -- I needed the Maw out from day 1, and I had cast a cumulative upkeep creature before I cast him, which was very poor planning on my part.

Alas. That Cover of Winter was ridiculous in this format. Next set?

Yeah, the Cover was kicking, but I wasn't sure with that upkeep cost.... also the extra land helped with the costs.
I think without the life gainer you would have taken it....

I was holding Mishra's Bauble.... better to have another land....
