Targer player discards a number of cards equal to the number of swamps you control

I think this card is seriously underrated. In my expirience (And consider, that I play mostly casual; no where equal the speed of most games/decks) this card is usally a win. It basically reads "Target player discards his or her hand"
Any, does anyone think it could have a slot on those mono-black speed/control/tempo decks that may or may not pop up?

I agree!

At the right time, this card can be amazing. I used it in a recent draft, and knocked out 5 and then 6 cards from my opponent's hand.

I would only play one in limited, and no more than 2 in constructed.

That seems to be a good assessment of it, speaking from a casual view also. It's probably mid-late game because you don't want to bring it out with a Ritual 'cause you probably don't have a lot of swamps out then anyway.

It could combo with Blanket of Night or whatever it is that turns lands into swamps in addition to their original type, so maybe you can go two colors...
