It has been pointed out to me that this is my 1000th post. Or rather, it was pointed out that my next post would be my 1000th post, but you get the idea :p

Personally, I never pay attention to that sort of thing. I sort of just assumed I had been posting pretty much forever.

Recently, this person (who pointed this out to me) has been going around all of the forums posting useless drivel about how much fun he thinks everyone much be having recently smoking Coat. Coat of Arms, that is. I think he rolled one up and had himself a party and it got him thinking, as that sort of thing does, of why the sky is purple and the grass magenta?

I am just at 1000 posts and I have been a member since 10/4/2000. This person has been a member since 8/6/2002 and has posted 485 posts (at least, by the time I wrote this sentence).

So, here's the deal. train - I hereby challenge you to reply to this post with your 500th post - and not before!!!! Say something creative, you're good at that sort of thing. Then, you may PM me so that I can log on and see that you are at exactly 500 posts.

You have to be quick, though, because I want to post my 1001st post. I figure that this shouldn't be very tricky for you. But I don't want you to use the word 'smoke' or 'Coat' in any of your posts getting up to 500. Think you can handle that? Don't repond until you hit 500... :D

First, as to what Rkoelsch said, I enjoyed the challenge, and the encouraging... I will say that, however, this would have been here a lot sooner had there not been a limit that stops someone from posting more than once in 60 seconds... But I understand there must be rules...

Now, On with the celebrations!!!

EB Congrats on your post!!!!
As for my motto from here on out - I'll be as active as possible on the boards(hint: you can remove the 60 second limit if you like...)

But honestly, I feel at home here even though I don't know most of you.

I recently moved to San Angelo from Lubbock and the gaming shops here SUCK the biggest acorns in the world!!! I have to tavel 90 miles just to play in a sanctioned tournament. I work as a technical computer analyst all day and when times are slow - I jump on the boards. Actualy I stay on all the time, I just answer and deal with the calls. The only family here in San Angelo is my wife and 2 daughters. I'm very lucky they support my gaming ideals. My daughter answers everyone when they ask where I am with "Daddy play magic cards" She's only 3 so you can imagine how it sounds...

I'm a Casual Player who competes in Premier qualifiers to throw everyone for a loop - I'm known for my "tech" skills. I enjoy Chess, Magic, Karate(there aren't any disciplined schools here), and Archery. I enjoy traveling with the Mad Hatter, and hopefully through his advice will be able to open a gaming shop worth something in this Magic Forsaken Town!!!

I enjoy the luxury of discussing things with you all because you don't "say so", you explain and understand that Magic is not just an addiction, but also a game!:p

I hope to get to know you all a little better and when I travel, maybe we'll get to play sometime, something casual, and beat those pesky pro shop players...

I'm glad a place like this exists, and this may not be so great to say, but I'm glad a lot of premier sites tank. People need to remember there is always a life to live. Hopefully Dominia will have mercy on our lives as we live here!!

Thanks Everyone!!!

Your Coat Dealer - Robert Hilliard, a.k.a.- Train

Technically EB you said not to use Coat or smoke getting up to 500, so since this is 500, let's celebrate - Everybody, Here's some Coat to smoke!!!:D

I posted. Why didn't my post count go up? Did someone delete one of my posts?

Anyway, congratulations on 500. I apologize to rkoelsch and everyone else to subjecting you to a bunch of random posts. Actually, I went through and read all of them. I was very impressed that most of them were on topic.

I have a family that supports my habit, too. It's good to have understanding. Actually, every once in a while, my wife kicks me out of my house so she can get some work done ;) Okay, kicked out really isn't the right word, but she doesn't like me around when she cleans the house because her version of cleaning the house involves messing up the house first ;)

She also enjoys reading a few forums here on the CPA, so if I'm sleeping on the couch for the next week or so, you'll all know why :D

Seriously, I head judge all of the main events in Portland (I actually live in Vancouver, WA), so anyone in that area coming to a main event better introduce themselves.

posts in the off topic forums don't count towards your total count :p.

Those two posts (or at least train's) should go in the "Who Are You" thread in Classic... :)

Besides Off-Topic, posts in Battle and Testing do not count.
