Sweet! I got me a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy- Gamer Edition and some Creative 2.1 speakers, plus an optical mouse and stuff.

I should be able to afford an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro for my computer with my Christmas money, too. :D

Edit: Well, my sound card dreams are shattered. Shattered! The SB Audigy was either defective or I zapped it with my finger's amazing electrical powers (probably the latter, for I pulled the card out of its sleeve before I grounded myself). Looks like that video card money is going towards another sound card. :(

The wife and I had a great Xmas - we both got the cold/flu/plague from hell. We've been miserable for about a week now....on a lighter note, my inability to breathe is sure making it easy to quit smkoing :confused:
