Memnarch, The Devil

Okay, I've been meaning to make a thread about this, so lay off if it's a bit late.

Isn't Memnarch related to Memnoch the devil from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles? Well, one is supposedly the ruler of Mirrodin and the other is the grand old devil himself.
