I have a U/W control deck. Its not overloaded with rares, and it IS MBC. Its usually effective, except against straight green stompy, where its incredibly ineffective. More importantly though, its very fun to play, and fairly challenging. (No Rising Waters, despite the name.)

The single copy Mercs are there as answers for several popular creatures, and are for the most part the most verstile mercenaries. Then start beating your opponent silly
