The Tentacled One
Well, it's been over a decade since the last time I played Undercity Informer in Legacy, but I still have fond memories of that, and All Spells was always a Legacy deck I wanted to keep in my back pocket, so to speak. But WotC can't help themselves: the era of ignoring Legacy completely is long gone, and we're in the era where they randomly ban cards from whatever deck they don't like. This is so much worse.

Earthcraft has been needlessly banned for over 21 years, but they just have to ban a card out of a combo deck that takes up less than 5% of the metagame. At this point, the format is a joke. It's not dead: just mortally wounded by the hand of an idiot clown that has reached inside it and is waving its body around as a puppet. I've said that I might be done with Legacy in the past multiple times. The Mind's Desire unban bought far too much good will from me and pulled me back in. At this point, there are 14 creatures banned in Legacy (not counting ante cards and Unfinity cards and Salty Seven cards). That number should, by all rights, be zero. Doesn't really matter one way or another whether I personally am done with Legacy, because Legacy is done being a serious high-powered format where the gloves are off, and has shifted into some hyper-curated nonsense. Legacy is guilty of all the same faults over which I used to lambast Modern. And it never had to be this way! It used to be better.
