Oversoul

The Tentacled One
This is getting out of hand. Ignoring the nonsense with the "Conspiracy" card type (WotC started listing them as officially banned after they came out with the card type, but the cards are non-functional anyway and I can't think of a good reason to ban them), the Legacy Banned List is now exactly the same size as it was at its very highest peak ever (following the Time Vault ban in 2008, but before the waves of unbans in 2009). Gone are the days of purging obsolete bans from the murky old days of the format. Gone are the days of "prisoner exchange" changes wherein mundane unbans are held for swapping with bans. And now we've fully moved past the conservative era of minimal changes to the format. WotC is ban-happy and the pace of this has gotten insane.
