Manakin Slighwalker - Type 2 deck

[Mongoose Man]

There was an article on Starcitygames.com about a deck played by "Friggen" Rizzo. This deck was B/R and used Milikin to accelerate the game and quickly gain threshold. This deck used cards like Shower of Coals, Terminate, Urza's Rage, and (Arguably) the best creature in type two Flame Toungue Kavu to clear the board and apply beatings. Anyway, My deck is alot like that one but has added green as a SMALL splash to add enchantment removal. ANY suggestions are appreciated.

Deck Explanations
I don't feel the need to eplain the purpose of cards such as Urza's Rage, Flametounge Kavu, and Terminate but other then that here we go:
Void - Used for mass destruction and easily kills more elephants the there will ever be, one sided mass destruction is always a good idea
Nightscape Familier - The ONLY regenerating Mana acceleration in the format, 3rd turn FTK, or Specter is always fun, also speeds up kickered rages
Milikin - Used to quickly Attain threshold where Shower of Coals is the dominating card, also speeds up Rages, FTK's, and Specters
Shower Of Coals - Once threshold is gained these things are pimps against Finkles, Elephants, Mages, FTK's Specters, the opponent, and other various things.... Domination
Blazing Specter - Beatdown and Hand Distruction all in one pretty gold package
Thunderscape B-Mage - Hand Distruction, Maindeck Enchantment removal and a small creature is versitile enoughf for me
Flame Burst - First one can kill smaller creatures and any more are elephant eaters along with finkle hating fiends
Firebolt - 2 in one burn spell is alwayz fun for everyone
Yawgmoth's Agenda - Bring back everything for more friendly beatings

The purpose of this deck is too be able to defeat Finkula as well as decks like Rocket Shoes and Fat Crank using Burn and targeted removal spells to keep creatures in check while you beat them senseless

What, no scuta? n/m our area is packed with Counters of all sorts. Um...do you really NEED main deck enchantment removal in our area? I didn't sse any decks using enchantments that are worth being destroyed at all.

I though you vowed to always play blue....wut happened?

Temporal Springs are also being played alot (noticed this during a conversation I over heard right before i went to get my apple pies last friday)

You may want to watch oiut for that to....jjsut beware since you aren't playing counters with htis deck.

Yeah that's true about mi blue playingness, but stroh is playing finkula and it must be stopped!

Enchantment removal is necesary becuz of random dumb pplz running around with aegis of honor *Cough* Bryson *Cough* and Rick with his Agendas and 2 rages hehe

Temporal Springs is pimpin against most stuph but in this case the rest of the tempo cards are killed easily, i mean terminate stops monger easily and i laugh at how many ways i have to stop the magpies and finkles

Just to fill the rest of you in, Rick and Stroh are some of the top players in our local shop next to Nick. And Brcen is just bad. ame with a kid named Casey(sp?). who thinks he's a deck theorist as good as Aaron Forscythe (lol).

That's pretty much the crew, besides Riche (another of us), Pyro Monkey aka Williams, and myself (matt or T.J.)
plus assorted crusty old men and an ass-hole that should be home with his wife and kid instead of playing magic drunk.

Hey guys looks like it's just us posting here and Nick you can't stop finkula!! Give it up! Hehe, esecially with your "playstock" aka my binder. Well I kinda like the deck, but where are the pyre zombies???? haha, j/k. But flame burst is dumb... try something umm... better. That's my advice... play more better cards! Matt... tempo is kinda dumb right now, it doesn't work becuz there's not enough creature destruction and the creatures in the deck aren't very good anyways. Unless you play flametongue which is a good choice. Later.

Hey Stroh, the deck WITHOUT pyre zombies (I wish i had them) whooped upon Mike and Casey, and Dane was playin the SAME deck W/ P-Zombies and got dead last....

Mike is good, Casey(already mentioned) sucks up a butt.

Dane is good, he makes obvious mistakes all the time like me making him cool.
