Weeeeee!
I am hearby opening this thread up to discussion about the new cycle of dragons and myojin from Champions of Kamigawa.
As the thread starter, I'll push this along by asking a slew of questions. Feel free to deviate, however!
For each cycle, (All two of 'em), answer any number of the following questions:
1) Which one do you think will be the strongest in casual multiplayer.
2) Which one do you want to get your hands on the most?
3) Which one would be the best to get in limited?
4) Which one do you think will be the most competetive in Type 2?
I'll start!
The Dragons:
1) I think this is a no brainer - the black one has the biggest repercussions in multiplayer.
2) However, I'd certainly prefer to be playing with the green one. A fat green flier at a reasonable cost? Sing me up!
3) I suppose it'd be the red one, but the blue one is just so splashable and swingy.
4) I think if any of the dragons shine in competetive play, it'll be the blue one.
The Myojin:
1) I have to go with the white one here, but red and black pack a punch in multiplayer too.
2) I like multiplayer discard - so black.
3) Again, probably the white one, followed closely by the blue one, (Drawing a bajillion cards in limited usually wins you the game).
4) I feel like people are going to be sneaking in the red one into decks that plan on controlling the board.
Anyway, what say you, Certified Public Accountants?
