Yeah, but she was the only female hacker I remember seeing in the whole movie (there were probably more, but none come to mind). Your chances would still be pretty slim, DarthFerret.

The one thing that made most of my "real" hacker friends laugh was the fact that in the movie everyone was using Macs! I don't think I've ever seen a GUI that looked like those - and, of course, most hackers just use text-only interfaces...

Yeah, I got a laugh out of the "hacking graphix" they used in that movie. But you see that kind of silliness in just about any movie/TV show featuring a "hacker," so I just kind of let it slide.

And I don't know what the inspiration for Fisher Stevens' character was...

The soundtrack is pretty cool though.
