I ordered a box of Scourge (for $62.00 + $8.50 s&h) on June 18th via "Buy It Now" on eBay from a guy known as Craig's Sports Cards. His description said he was backordered and he would get more boxes by June 30th and it would be in the mail within two days. I emailed him on July 2nd and asked him when I could expect my box, he said he was mailing it out the next morning (jul 3). I receivedmy box on Jul 7th. I live in NC and it came from FL. I know it doesn't take 3 full days to get that far. I have bought boxes from other ppl on eBay and not paid 8.50 S&H but received it the next day. I am so pissed off I could scream. People shouldn't post items on eBay if they're not in stock. I had to wait a day shy of 3 weeks to get my box. I don't want any of y'all to fall victim to this BS I had to deal with.

I usually order from Card Kingdom which has the shipping but arrives in a fairly decent time...

same here spidey. they're stuff usually takes 3 days to get here, but hey its coming from the other side of the country.

I always order from collectandsave.com, they offer presale boxes at ~65 and if you order over $75 shipping is free. I have never had a problem... To get over the 75 threshold buy a prebuilt deck... For other CCG's their clearence rack has a ton of stuff for cheaps...

I'm having the same problem with the same guy Troll.

His seller/ebay account name is dreamjoey - craig@craigssportscards.com is his user name.

The guy is not a responsible seller either. After I paid for the box through paypal (immediately after winning) I never got so much as a confirmation e-mail from him. Here's the correspondence.

I paid for this ebay auction over a week ago but haven't heard anything
about its status. Could you please let me know what's up?

I didn't save my reply, but it was something to the effect of "Yes I read the auction, and I don't mind the delay, but a confirmation e-mail would have been nice just so I know my $68 ended up where it belonged and I'm going to get my box."

Still haven't heard back from him, still haven't gotten my box yet.

That's just unprofessional in my opinion, whatever that's worth.

Mikey: I hate that it's happening to you but I am glad I am not the only one. I usually order from a guy with a similar name from Atlanta who charges less S&H but overnights it.

No, no, I just posted his information so you guys know to look out for him (if you don't want to go through a similar experience). Even if I had real beef with someone, I would be very hard pressed to ask others to get involved. The ebay information is on there so you know not to bid on his auctions if you so choose.

I'm also known to send hatemail. Ask WotC, they're either recieveing the email bombing of about 1,000 letters a day, or have stopped the mail from my account from reaching them.

That's fair, and I won't anymore. But its not like that e-mail is protected. If you search for the seller on ebay you'll get the e-mail anyway.

A little insight for all of you -

A lot of people selling boxes on Ebay DO NOT HAVE ITEMS IN STOCK!!!...

The way most of them do it - and let you know it could be 1-2 weeks for delivery, is they have all their auctions end on the same day, receive their money from paypal, and then order the items from their distributor...

From WOTC it takes about 4 days to be shipped directly to the store - current wholesale about 1.66 per booster pack... 1.66 x 36 = 60.00 - so they make their money by selling in volume - and jilting you out of shipping... Then they order from WOTC/distributor - get the order in 3-4 days later, then ship it out to you...

Volume selling is VERY profitable... you end up becoming a distributor - or the likes thereof...

Mikeymike: I don't have a problem with you posting emails here - as far as I'm concerned, that is NOT a request to "e-bomb" or whatever the address. If Nightstalkers chooses to take it that way, frankly that's his problem and if he's known for hatemailing WOTC, he's got a problem of his own to deal with and I'm disappointed that he's associated with the CPA. We don't need a member dealing with that sort of behavior here, even if it's not really affiliated with us "officially".

Troll and Toad all my boxes come from these guys. There's not a single place I've found including Ebay that can beat their prices.

On another note what's up with Starcitygames? Ferret maybe you can answer this one..it seems their prices have been steadily creeping up lately...what's the deal?
