Its me again,,,,,,,,,

Does anyone have a multi-player Jokulhaups deck? I've been working on
this one and its the best design I can come up with. Playing haups in
MP is a crazy idea but I'm trying out some fresh idea's and this is
one of them.

4 Rukh Egg
4 Ashen Ghoul
4 Krovikan Horror
3 Squee, Goblin Nabob
2 Mindless Automaton
1 Necrosavant

4 Dark Ritual
4 Buried Alive
4 Zombie Infestation
3 Jokulhaups
2 Obliterate
2 Goblin Bombardment
1 Sol Ring
1 Firestorm
1 Corpse Dance
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Wheel of Fortune

4 Peat Bog
4 Badlands
4 Sulfur Vent
4 Sandstone Needle
4 Geothermal Crevice
3 Dwarven Ruins
3 Ebon Stronghold
2 Phyrexian Tower

I've always found Symbiotic Beasts (and other Sybiotic Green critters) would be nice - they die, bugs come into play...Mirari's Wake could also help recover from 'haups and keep your tokens larger...

A thing to remember with Haups is that it don't nail enchantments. You can use this to your advantage. Vineyard + Still Life. Spirit Mirror. Anything that can pound your opponent even after a haups is a good deal. Also anything that can slide out is nice too. Anurid Brushopper is the most recent, but don't forget phasers.

sneak attack... and world gorger dragon...

play the hops... sneak a dragon... all your stuff disappears... hops buries all but enchantments, including dragon... and then your stuff re-appears...;)

Wow, several suggestions.

Thanks :)

This was my R/G design/idea.

4 Birds of Paradise
4 Llanowar Elves/Tinder Wall
4 Wall of Roots

4 Rukh Egg
4 Penumbra Bobcat
4 Penumbra Kavu
3 Penumbra Wurm
*(or any number of Symbiotic creatures)

3 Jokulhaups
2 Obliterate
1 Sol Ring
1 Wheel of Fortune
*1 Zuran Orb

14 Forest
4 Taiga
4 Karplusan Forest
3 Gaea's Cradle
1 Keldon Necropolis/Shivan Gorge

The Sneak/Dragon idea is out of my league.

*cards added/changed

The Sneak/Dragon idea is out of my league.
As in you don't have the cards - or it's too much to mess with?...

Just wondering... 'cause it's like "sneak" goes with everything!!!... even mono-white decks!...

And Look at Symbiotics also... Nothing like losing 1 creature and gaining multiple replacements...

Hey train when I get home I'll give you a deck list of my current sneak attack deck which if I don't say so myself is a BEAST OF DESTRUCTION!

P.S. You'll have problems if you rely soley on sneak attack, toss in some Elvish Pipers to help smooth out the play.

I don't always rely solely on sneak...

cheap 187 creatures and victimizes are always fun - along with other reanime - shallow graves, corpse dances, etc...

Its a little of both. I don't have the cards and its a lot more unfair
than what I would want to play. My opponents would be really
upset by a combo-like mass removal deck. The idea is great
though.:D The Symbiotics and Penumbra would/should pass as
synergy in a none lethel design, maybe.

Other thoughts:

I have four Scion set aside for an MP deck but I'm kind of drawing
a blank. Should I use the whole Rotlung/Cleric theme or try some
other approach.

Elfhame Sanctuary.

"I'll blow everything but enchantments up."
"For the next few turns, I'll draw land. No matter what."

Ninja Training: 4
4 Sneak Attack

Fatties of Rage: 16
4 Penumbra Wurm
4 Symbiotic Wurm
1 Dragon Tyrant
4 Vashino Cutthroat
1 Dragon Mage
2 Genesis

Spells/Support: 20
4 Tinderwall (old school R/G acceleration)
3 Llanowar Elves
2 Naturalize
2 Elvish Pipers
4 Birds of Paradise
1 Natural Resurgence
1 Survival of the Fittest
1 Kavu Lair
1 Wheel of Fortune
1 Greater Good

Land: 22
4 Taiga
1 Karpulsan Forest
10 Forest
7 Mountains

Tweaked a few things. Decreased the mana weenies in favor of drawing and fatties. Decreased Kavu Lairs for more versatile drawers.

Survival is a true beauty here, there's nothing worse then drawing a stupid BoP when you've got your sneak attack sitting there begging to be used. Survival let's you toss the now useless bop in favor of a Wurm or Dragon.

Greater Good...I can't say enough about this card. Piper and S.A. take care of the large casting costs allowing Greater Good to be played and USED 3rd or 4th turn. Sacking a Penumbra or Symbiotic on it's way out to draw is ooh so satisfying.

Wheel of Fortune, again once you've go the Piper or S.A. out all that matters is getting fatties..and lots of them...Wheel...I think you get the point.

Dragon Mage is AWESOME HERE! Constantly refilling your hand with those porky little Wurms.

Genesis is probably the brokest card here. 4 Mana and 1 fatty in the graveyard ..even including genesis himself and most of the time my opponents call it.

Quick insight into how easy and brutal the deck is to play. Last Saturday a pal of mine who hasn't played since Tempest decided to come over and throw down using some of my decks. This guy was completely rusted over...the stack was an entirely new concept for him. Needless to say he went 4-1 with this deck (once he discovered it he stuck to it). His only loss was to a pal of mine completely pulling the win out his arse..self admittedly ta-boot. All in all a fun, simple, effective deck.

what about cards like Hidden Stag?

Maybe even combine stuff like Greener Pastures/ Siesmic Assult with Istanbul's suggestion of Elfhame Sanctuary.

Goblin Bombardment if the big boom gets through sac all your creatures for pings..hopefully sac'ing some symbiotes.

Zuran Orb...all that lands gonna die regardless so sac it as a fast effect and gain mondo life.

Craw Wurm...because no would EVER expect a craw wurm....that's about all I can come up with for this one....maybe foil Craw Wurm?

Altar of Dementia...

As for the Scions - I say run them in a re-anime deck...

At least use Craw Giant, which costs the same but has trample and rampage...
I'd say just run something like Blastoderm that can't be targeted... and it's cheaper...

I gotcha...

I was thinking cheap and unstoppable... well - almost...

I played Bogardan Phoenix, Bogardan Firefiend, Blazing Effigies and Rukhs in my Jokullhaups deck. I didnt play much MP that time, and it sucked in duels, so I didnt play it much. I might try it again some day, but I think the Penumbra idea is superior (but it causes the dual problem...).

Very nice idea with worldgorger dragon and sneak attack Train!

Thanks! - He also works well with Hunting Grounds... and anything that allows him to come out as an instant speed play...

Corpse Dance
Shallow Grave
Winding Canyons and the like...;) :D
