I tended to agree with SPidey, but the Encarta encyclopedia has "B" as the answer to number one...

They say it would have been the force to bring forth creation on earth...:confused:

I just read a Greek mythology book for this and they say that Gaia and Eros came at about the same time (along with three other forces, like Nyx). But apparently Gaia created the sky entity so I would be wrong no matter what :)

Kinda'. Chronus tried to eat all of his kids because he was told that one of them would kill him. After he at a bunch of them, his wife had Zeus - instead of feeding him to her, she gave him a rock to eat. Chronus got a monster case of indigestion and died...
