Is Pros-Bloom possible in Extended?

I've only been to two Extended PTQ's thus far this season, but from what I've seen, it's not all that fast these days. Most of the decks I've played against and have seen are fairly slow aggro-control types.

So, seeing as neither Cadaverous Bloom or Squandered Resources are banned, is a U/B/G new Pros-Bloom possible? It would (should?) have enough disruption and counter-magic to stop Neo-Trix, and then live for long enough against other decks to push through a massive Drain Life.

So, is it possible? Permisible? Advisable? Anyone wanna give it a shot?

...or am I just nuts?

Without Dark Ritual or Lotus Petal, and the rules changed to stop you using Infernal Contract, I`d not want to play it.

Apparently it CAN be made though, but isnt very good.

I´m not sure I understand this- maybe because I never played pros-bloom. Did you always go to 0 life before winning? Or is it some other rule that makes the contract unplayable?

Well, it used to be paying the life rounded up was the cost, and THEN you got to draw the cards. Now it appears the losing life is on resolution.

Either that or because 6th checks for 0 life at any time a player has priority, instead of at the end of a phase.

It certainly can with Sligh pushed out for the moment and with all of its components perfectly legal.

Dark Rit and Petal were never essential to it, not even close.

The problem is that the thing is an awkward clunky dinosaur that can hardly mount a defense four years later.

The engine takes up so much room it's hard to update because you can hardly take out anything. With The Rock packing Duress which wasn't in the original environment, you're better off playing Trix.
