To be hated, that is not sickening. To hate is sickening - the ability to feel such a disgust speaks much about its master, and his mental capacity, or, infact, the complete lack thereof. A person who hates is unable to grasp many things in life, I can assure you of that, lacking as much vision as love. They are people whom one must be blinded to, for they serve as a distraction, a noise that fails to communicate...

"And that's 2 members who use the word 'hate,' failing to see how much they hate themselves as well..."

I was just joking, DÛke, and I think that's pretty obvious. No need to turn everything into a DÛke Philosophy Challenge.

Granted, if you're refering to a Magic senario, to Hate is simply to grab whatever card hurts your opponent's deck from your sideboard in game two and three... or cast Hatred and pay enough life to kill whoever you wish.

However, I'm a total gamer-- a variety of Hard Core Nerd.

Thus, IRL, Hate is somthing thrown ~my way~, not somthing I throw.

Ransac

CPA Trash Man
I'm mentioned in Nightstalkers title.

He put "Ransac Bodyguard's", even though he means Ransac's Bodyguards.

Having your own set of Bodyguards is pretty cool, I think.

Ransac, cpa trash man

Sven, I was not talking about you. I was talking about FoR...who "really, really" hates me. Yes, I know...he's sad in more ways than one may count...but eh, that's life - always filled with sadening hearts. I don't recall you ever using the word "hate."

The other person is, obviously, Turtlewax,

"No need to turn everything into a Svenmonkey paranoia session."

Is anyone else getting a little tired of these philosophical battles DÛke enthralls us in? If I wanted to talk philosophy, I would've actually WENT to college...

Uh, they don't talk philosophy in college - they do talk, however, do not fear: they still announce their noise - their ear-bleeding noise...

Example: I was in my Ethics class today, and the professor said this, and this is a 99% correct quote:

"How pathetic and how lifeless can a person be if he were actually to tell me that he has nothing better to do than being here, sitting in this class, and listening to me! Please tell me, guys [to the students], that you have lives and a place to rather be in than this here..."

That's the head of the Philosophy department speaking, with his "oh, I have a PhD."

I was the only "pathetic" and "lifeless" person who was actually there to learn something as opposed to get an A and just forget all about it...

"The world is dying..."

Yes, good point Sven. To the lifeless - no, it never was alive. To the alive - yes, it is full of life, but decaying.

I guess I'm lifeless then. There are very few people who I can talk to intelligently. I have yet to have a real debate with someone other than my family, for everyone else I know is just an indoctrinated American with a lot of standard traits. They're all homophobic, vulgar, "I'm better than you" kind of people.

"Bleh" on anyone who supports American society.

There is nothing wrong with the American society, so there need not be much differentiation between societies. However, it is more than proper to be disgusted with all societies and cultures. America just seems so "special" because it is littered with unintelligent retards, uneducated professors, and limited brain domains, alas, all societies have their fair share of problems - all in all, they are all hypocrites...a shame to mankind, a portrayal of what once could have been a superior species, now is nothing more than a faltering insecurity, unable to grasp the first thing about life and freewill, degraded, shackled, and enslaved. To be a part of such a mess is to hate one's self, to have no self-respect, no outlook, no universality, no mind.

Evolution seems to suggest that man is "evolving," as in, developing into a better species. Upon closer examination, one instantly recognizes the incomplete analysis, that is, man is decaying, or "unbecoming." Once, tribes fought with tribes for resources, like animals, however, they fought only when resources were indeed needed. Selfishness and thoughtlessness have always been a plague. The surprise is, man has not yet elevated from such a state. Instead of arrows, rocks, and self-conscious brutality, now, violence is disguised, dressed as justice and civility, a "fight for freedom." Where the primitive man was sincere, in that he was in touch with the fact that he was acting brutally, the modern-day man seems to, somehow, believe that he is civilized, that he is righteous, completely not in touch with the fact. The human race is not the superior species on the planet Earth - this can easily be observed by the aforementioned unbecoming of the human mind - I wonder, a lion is supposedly not as superior as man, yet a lion is more civil, like the primitive man; lions cannot force themselves to be extinct, nor can they force any species to extinction; lions only hunt when they are in hunger, only drink when thirsty. Perhaps we can examine the werewolf, the cheetah, the penguin, and the shark as well, but they are much all like the lion in both the high manners and civility. Man, however, has not only the ability to annihilate another species, but also to annihilate himself completely, force himself into extinction, even if only on Earth. Being the filthy species of pride, patriotism, and greed, however, he undoubtedly thinks he is "superior," both in mind and physique, that he is "spiritual," that he is "righteous." One is forced to feel pity for such an un-evolved, untalented, superficial species. It is no surprise, that the lack of self-awareness and thought has caused man to place himself under the guidance of fantasy – like “God,” “religion,” and “government.” Some even dare utter of “fate” and “destiny,” forcefully trying to deny one’s own sad existence in favor of a different, better life. Joy and happiness are forced out of life in favor of joy and happiness in a different life - notice how this delusion inspires man to become more lazy, more thoughtless, for he now believes that there is, indeed, another life. Man, in that process, had degraded the meaning of this actual life. It is not an argument, whether there is another life, but the fact is that this life can be enjoyed, should be enjoyed, though man has already found his contentment, and has forced all other individuals to abide by that delusion. To be alive has become the contrary of to be living; where as everyone is living, rare few are alive. It is worth mentioning, that man will only become more deluded, and that the filth we live today is not as filthy as the days to come, when thought lessens and contentment increases. Note how all of this beautifully attribute to man's unbecoming.

DUke: It's actually been termed "Devolution," not "Unbecoming."

It's been around since the Kent State Massicre, and a really good band took the theory and ran with it.

I also think you'd enjoy the Cult of the Subgenius , as they have built a religeon on the theory of man being less than intelligent.

You can also become a reverend of the subgenius for $30 if you want to.

If I see a couple hundred more completly devolved things in the next year, I'll probably be known as "Reverend Orgg" at some point.

But right now, I don't think I will. I hope.
