I have read alot of threads and realise that most, if not all of the regulars on this forum are "we are not worthy" magic gods, so i summon thee to help this mere mortal! I loved insurrection the first time i saw it, so bought four and built a deck around it. Originally it had biorhythms in it cos i loved the combo, but too expensive to play both in a turn, so this the current incarnation -
9 forest
9 mountain
4 gilded lotus
4 sol ring
4 insurrection
4 fork
4 goblin offensive
4 battle squadron
3 bop
3 utopia tree
3 shivan dragon
2 nemata gg
2 panoptic mirror (if i can get an insurrection on it)
2 ashnods altars ( to sack opponents creatures to the goblin offensives after i have attacked them with there own creatures)
2 stream of life
1 living hive
The main reason i put the forks in there is to fork counterspells (train would like that, as it's red and not blue) but also has its other uses. The deck just seems too mana intensive , hence sol rings and lotus' and utopia trees, which seems to weaken it too much whilst waiting to play the first insurrection, fast creature decks play havoc with it but i like the deck so much i really want to work it out - so come on folks, what do you reckon?
