Inspiration for the post...

Alright, on Riva's acclaimed thread, FoR accidentally reminded me of why I defended Riva. Yeah, a bit because I'm "noble," or whatever, but...mostly it was because I was listening to a certain music track every time I responded to that issue. I probably would have never had the will to defend anyone if it wasn't for that track. If was listening to another certain track, I may have had the will to actually, verbally, abuse Riva...

Well, I know some of you listen to music while posting, so...does the music you listen to while you post effect how you react? Or is it just me, being obsessive with music and its godly power upon me?

More even, what *does* inspire you to post, or reply in a certain way, if any? Music? The last movie you’ve seen that you really liked? Watching Britney Spears pretend she has talent? The CPA awards you've won? The battle in the Battle Arena you lost? What...?

Personally, I react to music...and since, it seems, certain tracks make me “think before I speak,” I'll keep on those drugs for a while...

What inspires me to/while I post?

Well, I for one, and I'm sure several other's too, is the desire to exchange ideas through the written word.

...that, and the chane to type things like skittle-wat...pish-pat, fliberty-spat, wombat.

I can't usually listen to music at work (I have headphones and all but am too lazy to bring in CDs) but I doubt it would affect my posting.

Why I DO post is to share ideas, ask questions, and find the opinions of others.

Well, you could probably say this about many people who post off-tangent to a thread, but whatever strikes me as amusing or some odd memory that I feel I need to share. Like when Rando posted one of his first decks and we got off-tangent and he said something to the effect of "Pay attention to me now! The freak later". That cracked me up.

Yes, a lot of posts go off-tangent, like that one thread in the main forums where the thread evolved from lost cards into some unspeakable changes! *That* is what cracked me up...

I wonder what unregistered members think when they see a thread metamoph into something completely different. It's probably the reason we don't get many new members, because we freak them out.

Huh. So what you're saying is, I should NOT listen to Requiem for a Dream's soundtrack whilst posting, lest I drive my fellow CPAers to suicide?

(Interpretation: I listen to soundtracks, mostly - Requiem for a Dream, Spy Game, Dragonheart, Mononoke Hime, Escaflowne, Freespace 2, Gladiator, Unbreakable, American Beauty, and Lord of the Rings are some of my favorites. )

What inspires my posting to be the way it is?

A touch of insanity, whether I'm tired or not, and the will to spout off whatever nonsense that runs through my head when I'm tired and/or insane.
