Ahem.

Well, I got some official word.

The Big Four (sh*t, f*ck, *ss, b*tch) are right out. As I intended, and have practiced.
Ordinarily, this wouldn't have been an issue...but it came up recently.

To my Mystery Author (you know who you are): The public has spoken.

As for 'damn', I was going to be a *little* stringent on that, but not too very much. I just don't want it getting out-of-hand. I'll try not to go overboard on censoring, and words like 'crap' won't get censored (though I really think other words sound better).

Spathic: Geological term, describing the natural division of rocks. "Has good cleavage" Hell yeah!

1) Should our front page feature articles that are not about M:TG? (My current standard: No.)

In general, probably not. Depends how it ties in with the CPA (which is about MTG in my book)

2) Should non-M:TG content be kept in articles to be posted on the front page? (My current standard: To a very limited degree.)

Again, depends on how much. Everyone else has pretty much nailed it.

3) At what point do decklists become unsuitable? (My current standard: if 50% of the article is decklist, it gets the old 'better posted in the Decks section'.)

Definitely stuff like "Here's a deck, how can I improve it?" (I've gotten one of those...). Again, most everyone else has said what this should be.

Profanity: No.

I might have mentioned it before, but I wish there was a way to put some articles on front-page and others just in the archives. As it is though, like Yellowjacket has said, "one man's trash is another's treasure" so before I was putting up pretty much ANYTHING (unless it was REALLY bad). As standards go though, I'll try to tighten up, depending on what people are saying.
