One of the things I've always wanted to do was set up a way to play MTGO against myself. Namely, get eight computers together and rig a draft. It was a stupid idea that passed fast.

But I got reminded of it today when checking my email. This pic was sent to me concerning MMORPG farming...

I know I know... I'm the anti-magic online person - and on Magic online... but i had to get to magic somehow... and the local shop wasn't quite cutting it...

Not too hard to have eight accounts, as you could have used the coupon to create another account, then that account gives a coupon, and you use that to create another acount...

Quickly, you have eight accounts. Of course, the jerk sharks did that. Maybe Eisel. ;)

Cool idea - but then you need cards for all those accounts...

No problem getting cards for many accounts on MTGO. Like any MMOG, you get a ton of clutter fast and need "mule" accounts to store your "leet warez."

So, on MTGO, if you do that trick and get like eight accounts, you can fill a few of them with chaff cards, crap rares, etc, and sell them in bulk.

Georgie Tait's recent Star City article is pretty standard for a lot of MTGO players, I'd say, and shows how you can amass a ton of junk fast.
