Ideas with flanking?

I´m trying to make use of some of all these cards that fills up my room, but I never use. The idea is to make some "crap" theme decks. Maybe someone remembers "Insects vs. Spiders" theme ? :) After that I made a "Phyrexia-carrier" theme and a Black "First strike Knights" theme. Continuating with the knights it will be flanking next. Probably black again, white later. Red knights have flanking, but they all cost 3 mana, and I cant play with 12 cc3 creatures in a deck..

But I just dont have any clue what to do with this! How do you make the best of a flanking creature? Obviously flanking gets better the more creatures block it, but Lure and Goblin War Drums are out of the question (wrong colors, and war drums are against theme).

Any ideas? Black or white. Actually it might be possible to splash, but I would prefer to avoid it.

Black Enchant Creature spells like Unholy Strength et al.

If you add White what about that enchantment that gives all your creatures First Strike?

There's an artifact that steals Flying, Flanking and some other stuff from creatures and gives it to another.

How about Serrated Arrows or Contagion? This'll help with the -1/-1 theme.

Is it fevered convulsions?... to create tons of -1/-1 counters...

And Plague Spitter...

Bring them down with convulsions and flanking, and the spitter basically finishes them off - with your creature never really having to touch them...

He kind of sneaks up behind (flanks) them and scares them to death... They already have the "plague" and "fever"...:cool:

it would be nice to splash white, you could use mtenda herder, sidar jabari, or my fav the double flanking knight of valor!

Thanks for your suggestions guys. To me it looks like all of these things would work exactly the same way with first strike creatures, so they doesnt really use the FLANKING ability. Except the white first strike enchantment of course -Knighthood its called. I might use that one in a white flanking knights deck.
Maybe go for the theme with serrated arrows and other -1/-1 stuff will be the way.

I thought of bubble matrix, since this would make use of flanking not being damage. But the result is that you dont kill any creatures with toughness more than one, and kills all with toughness one. Exactly the same as with no bubble matrix...
Hmmm...I think a -1/-1 (or more) theme with bubble matrix sounds interresting. But I dont have any bubble matrix, and this was supposed to be with my spare cards. Some day I think I will get some.

Phyrexian Splicer is the artifact you were thinking of. I really like the idea behind it, and I´m using it in the Phyrexia deck. But it doesnt seem as it is doing much. Probably the way to make full use of it is when you play creatures with these different abilities yourself, and sometimes like to move them between your creatures. So that will not be a deck with flanking theme, but some deck with creatures with flying/first strike, trample and shadow. It should be possible to find some soldiers with these different abilities?
