If you haven't downloaded it, you won't have it. It's kind of like IM, but it's better because you can send files and stuff too. You can also control your visibility on it, unlike IM, and, for me, it seems to stop AOL from kicking me off when I haven't changed pages for a while (very helpful when posting articles and such).

why does the program keep telling me i can't message someone? It says i have to get permission to message someone. I requested permission but it still hasn't let me, HELP!!!

The'll get the message, but if they have the privacy mode on, you have to get their permission to add 'em to your contact list.
Just type in "I'm ______ from the CPA." and they'll usually do the rest.
