Wow...I haven't posted on here in a while...but I have an idea to throw out for critique. I've always liked Armageddon decks. I dunno that this would be at all tourney-worthy, but it seems like a fun deck and it happens to be 1.x legal:

8x BoP/Llanowar/Fyndhorn
4x Elvish Spirit Guide
4x Mox Diamond
4x Werebear
4x Mystic Enforcer
4x Uktabi Orangutan
4x Elvish/Druid Lyrist
4x Rancor
4x Wall of Blossoms/Spikes/Cloudchasers/Voice of All/Reviving Dose/Creeping Mold (which?)

4x Savannah
4x Brushland
1x Sungrass Prairie
3x Plains
8x Forest

The drawbacks of using the Mox, Spirit Guide, and 'Geddon would only help toward achieving threshold. Ideally, you could nuke all lands and have an 8/6, flying, trampling, pro-black attacker swinging away on turn 3. (I haven't done all the math, but I think that could happen with 9 cards...)

Please gimme some advice on this...I haven't tried it yet and could use some guidance.

Thanks!

Don't worry, Spidey, I can't find the Geddons either.;)

As for the deck, the Spirit Guide removes itself from the game as part of its mana making ability, so its "drawback" actually does not help you achieve threshold at all. I happen to hate the Elvish Spirit Guide anyway so I'll remove it with extreme prejudice and put the Geddons in their place. I would suggest using Birds and either Llanowar or Fyndhorn Elves and I would also suggest using Creeping Mold in your last slot. Even though that seems like overkill when it comes to artifacts and enchantments because of the Monkeys and the Lyrists, the land destruction element of the Mold will help against lands like Glacial Chasm.

Those are just my opinions.

If you have any: Swords to Plaowshares, Tithe, Land Grants or Call of the Herd(or assault/Battery)you might put them in the place of a few of the other cards. Wild Mongrel might be important to.

Just a thought.

 Jesus...I shoulda known when I hit those last four slots that I didn't think I had available (hence the many choices for them) that I had made a mistake somewhere. Yes...the 'Geddons themselves go in.:D

ESG is definitely out since I wasn't clear on its ability. Hmm...Swords do seem good in there somewhere, since some creature control would be nice, and I could even hit my own mana creatures in a pinch to gain some life and get a card closer to threshold. The utility of Creeping Mold is so nice, though...and I see a ton of man-lands in my playgroup, so LD is always a welcome draw. Maybe a few of each?
