I want to start a site that posts peoples Diablo2 characters and have people be able to download them. It is in the planning stages right now but if you want your diablo2 character posted email me with your diablo character attached. To find your diablo character go to your diablo2 directory and go into saves. there will be four files you need, the are charactername.d2s, charactername.key, charactername.ma0, and charactername.map. Feel free to send in as many characters as you wish.

I dont consider that right...

I mean on open you just have too many hackers with lvl 90+ and hacked items ...

It is sad but it is so.

Also I wouldnt mind people having a look at my character but there is no reason a lazy b*** is going to profit from MY sweat and blood.

Yep, duster i mean offline characters characters. The online characters are stored on the blizzard servers.

Sorry, rat guy, but that ain't gonna happen I'm not and I hope no one desides to just throw 60 hours+ of work to make a character with sweet items so you can steal them.

My idea is to make the site so other people can see what other people did with there characters. Like what skills did they learn and find out how cool a skill is that they thought before sucked. It is not meant for me to steal other peoples characters but more of a resource. I know that a lot of people have spent a lot of time with their characters and enjoyed playing the game and probably don't want anybody else taking your hard work for themselves. Like i said before it's more like a resource.

It's just going to work. No one wants to let everyone dl and play as their character, besides my friend told me they actually sell characters on ebay.

That's alright. Your info could still be used in database. It just won't be a useful unless you can actually try out the character.

thats like me asking you to send me your credit card cause I want to see what is on the back of it, and me telling you that I'm not gonna write down the pin number and charge stuff to you. If you want to try that character make one for yourself, why do you think I've got so many?

I have plenty of characters also. I have like three of each character type. Like i said before it's a resource and it's not just going to be for me, i'm sharing it with the whole internet community. I will also be putting my characters on the web so people won't think i'm doing all of this for myself.

I have a character on USAEast...And, I wanted the name Almindhra...But the server was acting screwy that first week there, so I came up with tons of names and they all got deleted because of the server...So, um, I'm kind of ashamed of the name I have now, SensualVixen...Its so bad...And I haven't played D2 in months...

Lessee... My Clvl 42 Paladin is my pride and joy, Diablo II wise. I really f*cked up with him for the first fifteen levels or so, putting no less than 12 points into Holy Fire (whoop-de-do). Now, however, he sports Slvl 4 Zeal and Slvl 20 Concentration (+345% damage). He's in Act 2 Hell (but currently doing several trips through Nightmare Act 4 to level up three or four times (I have a wonderful Rare Winged Helm with required Clvl 45).

This is my really neat lvl 64 sorceress. Alas, now I've moved on to bigger challenges, such as playing relm, where the monsters are sometimes not even where they appear to be... Leads to creative aiming(methinks thunderstorm is a good spell now).
