Armageddon Clock is certainly some fun by itself, but imagine my surprise when....

Harry casts Armageddon Clock.
I say, "That's goofy, how fun."
Next turn, we each take a pain.
Harry casts Animate Artifact on the Clock.
I say, "Uh-Oh."
Harry casts Spirit Link on the Clock.
I say, "Great googly-moogly!"

Needless to say, I lost.

Creature Bond#17
At least I'm consistent in junk commons...to the Rare
Armageddon Clock ....moootherfu.....

What some of the "new" players fail to realize is back in those days you either got completely shafted, or absolute gold...there was no middle ground...unless you peeked which I learnt about WAAY to late.

Remember the old "gift sets" they had for Revised and Fourth? I do, because the boxes are great for storing stuff! :D

I opened one (two starters inside along w/ a bunch of life counters that my friends called "jellies"). Rares: Shivan Dragon and Time Elemental. Other deck: Armageddon Clock and Time Elemental. Since I hated blue I was able to trade those elementals for some really groovy cards...the clock was traded to my roommate so that he could create his "Kill everyone equally" deck.

It involved cards (like the Clock) that hurt each player each turn, Syphon Souls (sick card in multi), Racks, Vices, and lots of mass removal like Pestilence....

...of course, it rarely won because a deck like that puts a massive bullseye on your life total...

"How many Clocks are in there?"
