Help me break...Puppeteer

I just picked up 4 of this little guy and I want to build a deck around him. Here are the cards I've tossed around so far with no particular deck in mind.

Creatures
Archivist
Reveka, Wizard Savant
Phyrexian Collosus...of Sardia
Argothian Elder/Krosan Restorer
Somnophore enchanted w/ Hermetic Study.
Khamahl, Pit Fighter
Avatar of Woe
Thris, Nantuko Primus
Ertai, Wizard Adept
Temporal Adept
Invasion Scapemasters
Mother of Runes
Devoted Caretaker

Other stuff
Puppet Strings
Awakening
Vitalize (yay! this was the very first instant I ever had)

I'm not really looking for a combo deck, more like a utility deck for multiplayer. Something that is versatile and works well with a teammates deck.

Go nuts with ideas, I've got a U/G in mind.

So Seeker of Skybreak would probably be a bad suggestion.

I just thought it might be redundant...
Although that could be fine too, especially if the point is to help someone as a team.
Can you count on the other deck(s) on your team to be strong?
If so, then there are a lot of creatures in Invasion that tap for effects that you might want to consider.

I don't mind the redundancy, it doesn't make me so dependent on the Puppeteer, and if I have to untap an Archivist twice then so be it :D. Plus the Seeker is a 2/1 for 1G - he might be able to get in for a few swings.

The strenght of my teammates' decks vary by teammate and matchup, but I figure what I lose in shear power with this deck I gain in utility and versatility - the wee bastard really can control the board (minus Morphling of course...which can't do much against a Phy. Collosus). The tricky part about our team games is that we play with no deck collaboration so we go in blind as to what our teammate is playing.

A friend of mine uses U/R with the Collosus, tinker, Goblin Welder.

Try Tim's with Sigil of Sleep, the Tims are almost good enough on their own getting to double tap, I realize in MP they are very difficult to keep on the board. You could include some utility Artifacts and tinker to get a CoS. Puppet Strings is always good too, expensive replacement for Puppeteer, but creature-kill proof. Meekstone is good too, since you'll be able to tap big stuff. Also you can untap your partner's stuff too.

Initially I did want to put him in a Artifact/Tinker deck but then I notice that he didn't work on artifacts (without Karn at least). Sigil of Sleep is definitely a monster in MP, that's a good idea.

So here are the ideas so far.
U/G Awakening
Run things like Seeker, maybe basilisk/Hermetic study, land untappers, Reveka, Archivist

U/R Pingers
Run things like Sigil of Sleep, Quicksilver Dagger (might as well), Kamahl/Jeska

I just thought it would be funny to drop Serra's Blessing and swing with all your little guys. Before they block, tap all their guys with Puppeteer and friends, kinda like a weird Aboshan effect.

A real suggestion is Tradewind Rider if you plan to have lots of guys and Awakening.

Hehe, Serra' Blessing would be funny. Regarding the Tradewind Rider - I can't run him, one of the guys in the group is already running a TradewindAwakening deck.

He works on Arty Creatures though. I wasn't intending to tap the meekstone/W Orb (like with Icy). Just to untap the CoS and tap their creatures using the stone to lock 'em down. You could also untap your partners creatures as well in lieu of your own.

I'm thinking about putting together a Library of Leng/Madness deck, it would seem to work well with this as well (untapping looters). Very annoying, perhaps too annoying for my group. :)

I have yet to use my Tradewinds, they'd go well in this too. My group hates my temporal adepts (I suppose they'd be fun as well). Stasis, Adept, stasis, adept, rider, stasis, adept. . . damn annoying. Everyone hates a stasis deck, heck even I hate playing it (mostly because the minute they recognize it I'm dead).

another way is to play some kind of sands of time deck. Using icys, and maybe candelabra of tawnos, you definately control which permanents can stay untapped, and which dont.
This also gives you the chance, to revive some nice old tricks, which havent been seen for a VERY long time...
