Heavy Metal 2000

Has anyone seen this movie? I have and it is awsome, I recommend it to everyone.

I now have to see the first Heavy Metal. If anyone has seen it please tell how was it.

Allthough i have seen the trailers for 2000, and it didnt seem as good.

I have an HBO taped copy of the original, and I think that if you're not from the late 70's early 80's era, then it's probably stupid. For me, it was great. I was a current subcriber to HeavyMetal during those years and again in the late 80's (BTW, April or Spring 1988 issuue is just plain sick).
This is the first time I've heard of a HeavyMetal 2000, are you sure you're not confusing it with Fantasia 2000?

Well, I've only been able to procure(shhhhh!) ONE copy of Heavy Metal personally, and I actually LOVE the moovie. It's very entertaining, actually. Be forwarned--It has nuidity. However, my favourite scene, Capitan Starn, HAS no nudity.

It's definatly worth a look if just for the amazing vocal talent of Joe Flathearty(what happened to him?) and John Candy; The soundtrack is excellent, too. This is the place I first heard Devo, and I'm thankful for that!
