Well of course I hope all you Americans are having a safe and happy Independence Day.
I also hope that those of us from other nations are having a pleasant and safe day. Need a reason to celebrate something other than the declaration of American independence? Here you go:

Saladin defeats Jerusalem's king, Guy of Lusignan, at the Battle of Hattin, setting the stage for the Third Crusade. Cuz the first two were so successful.
And of course we must not forget the Philippines: We're Friends! Ain't it great?
