Just wanted to offer best wishes for a Happy XMas for those who observe it, followed by a pleasant Boxing Day, for those of you who get into that kind of thing. ;)

And if you don't celebrate any of those, then have a lovely Tuesday.

Everyone who visits today, leave a message on the thread! :)

Well after many hours of wrapping presents for everyone in my family, and watching the last of "Eye of the Storm" (such a great holiday movie, no?), I'm ready for bed...

Hope today is pleasant and loving, and that no fruit cakes may come your way...(damn do those things SMELL!).....

...I got music equipment. A lot of it. You know, I'm too thankful at the moment...just too thankful to be alive. I can't wait until I show you what my music really is, using these brand new gears...I hope I can live through the excitement. :)

Istanbul, do you, by any chance, happen to work in a video store, or something? I think they're the only ones that don't close...Blockbuster? Well, I hope you still enjoy the New Year. If it doesn't snow by then, I'll be ready to commit mass murder. I want snow...

Anyway, enjoy everyone!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: life is wonderful when you're doing what ~you~ want to do.

:)

Back to the studio...

I got nothing, except a loaf of sourdough bread (my favorite), some homemade apple jelly, and a can of roasted peanuts, all from a lady I work with. Yummmmm. :)

And I'm grateful for it. :)

Cuz I like food...

I got lots of art stuff, so I'm happy :) Oh and the Harry Potter soundtrack (John williams is my hero). Some other miscellanious stuff as well....

I seriously wasn't expecting half the things I got for christmas... I feel so guilty

It was a great day.

I got to watch my little brother and sister open their gifts from me...

Jenny, my little sister, saw Shoots & Ladders, put it down and opened another one of her gifts without much fanfare. My little brother Joram was THRILLED over Candyland and proceded to rip it out of the box(totally destroying the box) and loosing every piece to it in under two minutes...

with exeption of the board.

Oh well.

Santa brought me a keyboard(oh my! My fingers almost hit two keys! Bugger!) since I liked toying with my cousin's this past year. I also recieved Filthy Rich(Richard Garfield's excellent "board" game), Stratego, a giant Checkers doormat that came with giant checkers, a "CD STOMPER" label program for burned CDs, Warm-Ups for undergarmets(the mandatory unseen clothing gift), Amused To Death(DUke, pick this up for $6. You'll love the subject matter) and Radio K.A.O.S. by Roger Waters, Mutter by Rammstein, and Pioneers Who Got Scalped: A Devo Anthology.

My brother and sister got three times this stuff... WOW it was a big christmas.

My mother also cooked the Dinner this year(we stayed at our house insted of going to my grandmother's this year), and the stuffin' was actually edible without any Garlic or Onions in it! It's a MIRACLE. We also didn't run out of ketchup for the Turkey as we usually do, so that was good, too.

Aaaahh. I also had quite a bit of fun playing Checkers with my little sister. She lost every time, sadly, but we had a couple of close games.

Aside from taking care of my sick wife, which meant we opened presents for about 30 minutes and then it was back to bed, it was pretty good. I got two packs of Odyssey and some books and a puzzle game "Rescue Squad".

My family is always late with presents though; we should be getting them later this week :)

My Christmas was nice and quiet... :) I have a big warm trenchcoat now, which was exactly what I needed for living in Seattle and moving to Baltimore next year. *curls up to get warm*
