A story:
On this day eighteen years ago, A woman gave birth in a small hospital in Chile. The sands in the Atacama, not far away, began to stir. Power shut down across the entire town of La Serena, and animals began to bay fearfully. The sea to the west began to bubble, and fish began to surface belly-up. Dark clouds gathered and wind began to blow, steadily increasing its velocity until it howled... Then all was silent. A thick mist rolled in from the sea. A ray of light, with no identifiable source, shone into the birthing room and illuminated the child. It grinned impishly.
The Xarvox had arrived.
