The Tentacled One
No luck the first time around with this deck. I was manascrewed and one of my opponents was running a Yuriko deck, so I died uneventfully. Second game was closer, and there was even some potential for me to win it all, but I forsook winning in favor of casting All Hallows Eve. Things were still looking OK, although I only had three creatures in my graveyard. Then the opponent who was about to run out of time chose to cast Cemetery Desecrator, exile my Rune-Scarred Demon from my graveyard, and concede without using the other part of the ability. Pretty weird, right? So yeah, it screwed me over. I might have been able to bounce back if I tutored up Damn and used it to wipe the board, but that was a long shot, and struck me as boring. Instead, I took the fun route, tutoring up and casting Blood for the Blood God!

I still eventually lost, but it was memorable.

Taking this one apart. I had some fun with it, but the chief problem was that I simply never found any tables at a suitably low power level for this deck to make sense. My opponents could quickly and easily build board states that this deck was never designed to compete with. On the one hand, that's the price I pay to be running some silly holiday deck. On the other hand, I am kind of dissatisfied with this situation.
