This is one of those "Real Good Times" decks. Not competitive by any measure, but a real joy to play. The expression on the face of your opponent when you pull the montrosity out of your box and the disgust in their voice as they say, 'THAT is what you're PLAYING with?' is reason alone to have it at your disposal.

The firstmost advantage of this deck is a psychological one.

It's 90 cards deep (!!)

'What kind of a DECK is that big? Noob.'

So, strictly on the basis of your deck's size, your opponent already believes that they have an advantage over you.

They've obviously forgotten of those tricky little fellows that dominated the scene when Nemesis rolled around:

Rebels.

Guerilla Warfare

4x Lawbringer
4x Defiant Falcon
4x Defiant Vanguard
4x Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero
4x Ramosian Sky Marshal
4x Ramosian Lieutenant
4x Skyshroud Poacher
4x Seeker of Skybreak
4x Timberwatch Elf
4x Defiant Elf
4x Elvish Scrapper
4x Heedless One
4x Wellwisher
4x Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary
4x Priest of Titania
15x Forest
15x Plains

The deck plays itself (like most simple aggro decks), but uses a few nifty tricks to get around the tools that most folks now use to keep your critters off the table.

Lawbringer and Elvish Scrapper are the 'tech' of the deck, sitting in place strictly for use against key threats that appear in my own metagame.

Remember how you were convinced that WotC were licking LSD when you watched them print Defiant Elf?

I'm almost certain that this very deck is the reason that card exists.

The Tentacled One
Well, Engineered Plague has to be like DDT against this deck, but no one uses Engineered Plague anymore. Then again, I guess no one really uses DDT anymore very much. It has to be fun to win with this sort of deck though...

Your opponents will learn to fear the Lin Sivvi! Or they might just buy some Wrath of Gods or Masticores or something. I'm not sure which, but the rebel beatings would be more enjoyable, for you at least...

The best thing though, is the size. I've seen rebel decks before. But you only need to win with this sucker once to shut your friends up. They bring up some stupid play you made, you swing back with, "what about how you lost to a 90 card deck made of creatures and basic lands?"

Man, you weren't even THERE!

I haul this beast out of my box once, challenged to a game by a friend of a friend (I didn't knwo him that well).

On and on he starts going about how fat and hideous my 'deck' was, and just how terribly he was going to smash me all over the place. 'Lemme guess, you pulled every creature you saw that had power over 4 and slapped them together. Noob.'

Turn 6, he was dead.

His face turns this purplish hue, and we all sat awestruck as he literally fired-up his PC to shoot an e-mail at WotC Customer Support complaining about how broken Lin Sivvi was, and how badly she needed to be restricted.

One of my most favorite games of Magic. Ever.

Actually, Pestilence has been the greater bane of Guerilla Warfare in my metagame (I've seen Masticores played regularly - they get exploded before they can do too much harm by the Scrappers). I think I'll always keep Guerilla Warfare intact (though I'm certainly not opposed to modifying the build... I always thought it'd be nifty if I could actually further increase the size to something like 120 cards while keeping it effective), but I doubt I'd ever drag it into a really competitive fight.

It's really hard for me to look at this and comment about any channges - if at all...

If so - are you wanting it to remain all basics, and all creatures?...

IMO...

Well - it dies to mass kill, and in free-for-all MP - you're going to see a lot of it...

It could do well if it got a quick start - but might be a threat that players don't want left on the table....
