This is basically a budget Jeleva deck. As I noted on tappedout, I included many instant/sorcery spells that have multiple methods of casting, and no X cost spells, for maximum benefit with Jeleva. Also, board wipes to both destroy threats and reset Jeleva herself if needed. Decklist is here. Annotations on the list: High CMC Instant/Sorceries that are mainly cast via Jeleva: 1x Army of the Damned 1x Blatant Thievery 1x Call of the Skybreaker 1x Cruel Ultimatum 1x Din of the Fireherd 1x Rise from the Tides 1x Fated Return 1x Plague Wind 1x Promise of Power 1x In Garruk's Wake 1x Volcanic Vision High CMC Instant/Sorceries that are good catches with Jeleva, but with alternate modes/cost reducers that could be hardcasted/suspended: 1x Blasphemous Act 1x Curse of the Cabal 1x Treasure Cruise 1x Temporal Mastery 1x Temporal Trespass 1x Set Adrift 1x Phthisis Mid CMC Instant/Sorceries that are still good catches with Jeleva, but could be hardcasted: 1x Cerebral Eruption 1x Chain Reaction 1x Dark Intimations 1x Hour of Devastation 1x Extract from Darkness 1x Void 1x Volcanic Offering 1x Vanishment 1x World at War 1x Slave of Bolas 1x Skull Rend 1x Savage Beating 1x Languish 1x Mizzix's Mastery 1x Incendiary Command Low CMC Instant/Sorceries: 1x Brainstorm 1x Chaos Warp 1x Ponder 1x Terminate 1x Never / Return 1x Mystic Speculation 1x Mystical Tutor 1x Hero's Downfall 1x Dreadbore Creatures: 1x Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge *CMDR* 1x Treasonous Ogre 1x Nightscape Familiar 1x Thing in the Ice 1x Scourge of the Throne 1x Neheb, the Eternal 1x Jhoira of the Ghitu 1x Guttersnipe 1x Charmbreaker Devils 1x Wildfire Eternal Planeswalkers and others: 1x Quietus Spike 1x Trepanation Blade 1x Chandra, the Firebrand 1x Ob Nixilis Reignited 1x Runechanter's Pike 1x Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker Lands, mana rocks, and cost reducers: 1x Bloodfell Caves 1x Command Tower 1x Crumbling Necropolis 1x Crypt of the Eternals 1x Dimir Aqueduct 1x Dimir Guildgate 1x Dimir Signet 1x Dismal Backwater 1x Evolving Wilds 1x Grixis Panorama 4x Island 1x Izzet Boilerworks 1x Izzet Guildgate 1x Izzet Signet 5x Mountain 1x Opal Palace 1x Rakdos Carnarium 1x Rakdos Guildgate 1x Rakdos Signet 1x Ruby Medallion 1x Rupture Spire 1x Sapphire Medallion 1x Skyline Cascade 1x Sol Ring 4x Swamp 1x Swiftwater Cliffs 1x Terramorphic Expanse 1x Transguild Promenade 1x Vivid Crag 1x Vivid Creek 1x Vivid Marsh The main thing I find lacking with this deck is the ability to finish the game. There have been many instances where I've got board domination and still have more ammo in hand, but can't do enough damage to bring opponents to zero life quickly, as Jeleva herself doesn't hit hard. Sometimes this results in them coming back. Suggestions?
