Mortuary looks like a pretty weak and needlessly mana-intensive junk rare card. Until you pull it out of your binder to give 'er a whirl.
How about I just play Bone Shredder over and over again, effectively shutting-out any beatdown plan? What if I just totally wreck your mana base with Contamination? You alright with me thinning-out whatever lands I need by constantly popping elders?
Hecatomb and/or Delraich can seal the deal on your opponent's life total, or if need be, you could just ruin their board and whittle them down with elders and shredders. Culling the Weak sets-up the bursts of mana for early bomb-dropping, Intent grabs silver bullets whenever you're in need and Skullclamp... well, Skullclamp is just plain broken.
This deck would definitely get it's throat cut by a black or artifact-based opponent... but it sure raises a lot of hell against other colors.
