Well, even though it's partly sad, I'm going to be away from the forum for two weeks beginning next week...well, starting tomorrow, really, as I have lots of packing to do. My parents are going to be home with pay, so I decided to take a trip to Hayward for those weeks. Massive Magic gaming, massive video-gaming, massive...Well...Just massive everything! See you guys in the new year!

P. *chomp* S. - If I can get to a computer while I'm in Hayward, I'll try to post.

Well dang, as long as we're giving notice.

I'm not going anywhere right away, but around the end of the year I'll be moving too to a place SO SMALL, I will have no room for my computer desk. It will be at a friend's house, and offline, so my visits will be few and far between.

Just didn't want you worrying about me. ;)

Well, he said no room for the computer deck so I just figured no room for the actual computer either...

Yes, the bastards did charge double for my 400lb (IRL) oink.

*insert random out of character insult here, with full knowledge trian was joking, but hte joke still pissed me off a bit and made me bitter*

Apologies for the bitter aftertaste... I really didn't have an idea on any actual size... Glad you understood it as a joke...

But if the airline did do that... Wasn't there a suit lately where the airline had to compensate a passenger they charged double due to physical size???...

And if it helps... I have had issues with Mcdonald's and other fast food establishments...

I weigh about 270 - but my "shape" doesn't fit well with their ergonomic designs...

There was a suit on that issue. The guy won because they sold him two seats... fifty feet apart. The below is a simi-copy from the CNN visuals on the suit. the "Ms" are the seats of his, the "Us" are the other seats. See the strangeness and the reason for the suit? I DO get two breakfasts, though!

I knew it was a joke, but some kids have been teasing me about it for no reason. It gets annoying, eventually... No hard feelings. :p

I wasn't the biggest person around hatter's shop, but the kids there didn't do too much teasing... it might be all the yelling and threatening us older guys shouted at each other...

They probably didn't want any part of that headed their way...

Plus... we had the edge on them... we were able to tear up their plush Pokemon dolls and they could just watch... guppies...:D

Pretty much correct.

My new living quarters will be about the dimensions of a large walk-in closet. (No I am not going to jail.) The house itself -- of which I will be one of three members -- is about the size of two single-wide trailers stacked one atop the other; the staircase connecting the levels is treacherous, the steps being higher than they are wide.

My computer (and desk) will be at my best friend's house, and only online if he decides to do that.

I expect to get a lot of reading done, and hopefully a good bit of writing as well (the old-fashioned way). Certainly I will be watching a lot of DVDs and videotapes, as there is also no cable TV.

For those wondering why I am voluntarily subjecting myself to such conditions, I need to save a LOT of mony over the next sixteen months as I prepare for my and my friend's escape from this godforsaken hellhole and move to someplace more civilized (current target destination is in or near Tuscon, Arizona, where I have some good friends practically begging me to come there).

Thanks for the well-wishes -- I need all the good luck I can get -- and I hope WickedBoy6 doesn't mind terribly that I borrowed his thread. :)
