I think it's too strong for a Madness of 0 and haste since it would be too easy to discard.

Kind of Like a Ball Lightning effect..

Use it as a lightning... or as a rolling thunder

I like Train's idea, but then again, I'm a sucker for anything Ball-Lightning-related: Ball Lightnings, Blistering Firecats, Yavimaya Ants, Skizziks, Lightning Elementals, etc.

It was an attempt to combine a Goblin Grenade and a basic goblin sacrifice in one card, but it seems WAY too cheap now, so:

(revised) Goblin Bomber - 1R
Creature - Goblin
R, Tap, Discard a card from your hand, Sacrifice Goblin Bomber: Goblin Bomber deals 5 damage to target creature or player.

I'm not sur if the extra colorless & the Discard/tapping balances it, probably not.
