Who thinks this card belongs in Unglued? i cant seem to find a use for it...what are you supposed to hide? im so confused.... (it doesnt take much)

It's a utility Burn spell. Great for um....er.....Type...no...Great for....a Limited? No, it sucked there too. well, Every set needs a card that makes no sence. Besides, If I remember the wording (Every Player?) then this card would be the funnest with about 50 opponents. It'd also take forever to resolve. 
The way I've seen it used has been both players pick a number < the amount of life they have. They then reveal the number at the same time. He who pays the least looses x life then half rounded up. he who pays the most just pays his number total.

Ya' know, if I ever make the Pro Tour and Goblin Game is legal in the format, I will FIND a way to play four in my sideboard, and plenty of mana acceleration. If I go to the point of having NO chance (very likely), I'll just try to play it. For the sole purpose of saying "I played Goblin Game on the Pro Tour."

I want to get my hands on one to see how my group reacts. Anthony Alongi wrote an entire article on this card, and it seems interesting, if horrible. This will go in with Mana Cache, Psychic Battle, Dual Nature, Infernal Genesis, and the best Unglued card of all: Bureaucracy! That would be a PSYCHOTIC game.

In all seriousness, it seems like a good sign that WotC isn't only thinking "tournaments, DCI, Pro Tour..." when they're designing their sets. It's the kind of thing the CPA should respect, I think.
My girlfriend and I actually spent quite a while after I got the card trying to reduce each other to 0 life just by playing the Goblin Game over and over. It's more fun than you might think.
Plus, you could really get to know your opponent well by seeing what kind of stuff they hide.
Bonus fun: Fork it.
