This is a Goblin deck that I have been working on for a little while. It usually has the game won by turn six at the latest(though I feel that is to many turns for a deck like this.) If anyone has suggestions for it please feel free to comment.

4 raging goblin
4 mogg fanatic
2 mogg maniac

20 spells
4 lighting bolt
4 goblin gernade
4 lava spike
3 volcanic hammer
2 fire blast
2 browbeat
1 incenerate

lands
11 mountains

sideboard
1 goblin king
1 goblin matron
1 mogg maniac
4 goblin ballon birgade
1 sulfuric vortex
2 fireblast
1 mogg raider

Tip 1, ditch the hammers, use 4 shocks instead (smaller casting cost)

As for the creatures, I am not to big on the mogg maniac. Your deck is coming out quick enough that it shouldn't really need his ability. There are probably a few other cheap goblins out there with a slightly better ability (although my mind is blank at this time.)

Other than that, the only thing i see that would be a roadblock to your deck is a U/W weenie counter deck. I would definately think about sideboarding against blue and white. maybe a shatterstorm or 2 as well...(enough people around here are still crazy over mirrodin.)

I count 41 cards. You know that you have to play with a 60 card deck? I'd add some mountains (at least 9) and 4x fireblast. Saccing lands to take out an opponent is a small price :) (beware counterspells and instant lifegain). I'm not sure if I'd run Goblin Grenade. 5 damage is a lot, but you lose an attacker and it is useless when you have no goblins in play (an opponent could play Wrath of God, Infest, Pestilence, etc.)

I presume you have a limited budget, if not check out this goblin deck. Scroll down to Oliver Ruel to see a Red - Black goblin deck made for killing.

Goblin Warchief and Goblin Ringleader are nice additions to your deck. Goblin Lackey is insane, so it's also an expensive card to aqcuire. Sparksmith is a common that can help you remove blockers (and save your burn for the opponent). It will damage you to, but your deck is built to win a damage race.

Good luck with your deck!

Also note that a sideboard has to be zero cards or fifteen cards. His has eleven.

10 creatures is simply not enough for a goblin deck.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am now obtaining at least two goblin warchiefs as well as a goblin lackey, plus shocks. To answer the question of only having 41 cards. I was under the immpression that 60 card decks was a requirement in certain tournament. That's beside the point though since the improvments I'm adding will put my card count a 61. It will be at 62 if I add ZO-ZO.
Two questions though. 1. As of 9th edition goblin king is a goblin, however I only have a 7th edition one, can I count him as a goblin or do I need to obtain a 9th edition. 2. Since this deck's main focus is about killing off my goblins to do damge my opponet should I add Squee

Good cards. They should help. Well, just one Goblin Lackey might not make a big difference, since it's best when played as early as possible, but it's a start...

60 is the minimum for all decks except for those in special formats. No format that I am aware of uses any sideboard that is a size other than 15 cards. They either don't use sideboards, or have a 15 card requirement for one. Of course, anyone could make up a format that used a different type of sideboard. But the problem would be getting other people to play that format.

That's beside the point though since the improvments I'm adding will put my card count a 61. It will be at 62 if I add ZO-ZO.
Don't just keep adding cards. 62 is okay, but you want to stay as close to the minimum (60) as possible in order to have the best possible chance of drawing your most powerful cards.

Two questions though. 1. As of 9th edition goblin king is a goblin, however I only have a 7th edition one, can I count him as a goblin or do I need to obtain a 9th edition.
All Goblin Kings are the same as far as the rules are concerned. Your 7th ed. Goblin King counts as the exact same thing as this guy.

2. Since this deck's main focus is about killing off my goblins to do damge my opponet should I add Squee
No. You should be trying to win quickly, not by recycling Squee over and over. He is three mana for a 1/1, which is a bad deal. Goblin Matron is the same bad deal, but its ability would be much more helpful to a goblin deck.

The best decks that use Squee don't actually play him. They just discard him to things like Survival of the Fittest every turn.
