G/U/W Type II Help

    I was building a new deck for fun and it played fine for awhile in T2.

    Then it hit a mono-blue deck with 20-24 counterspells and Gush for card drawing. Every time...zero got out. My meager assortment of counters does very little. What got out, got bounced then countered. Flyers killed me slowly.

    So, what is the best way to deal with this type of deck in various formats? For instance, playing G/U/W, should Blurred Mongoose and Kavu Chameleon be the choices (don't know how I'd keep the Chameleon on the board)? Or is there some other overall strategy I don't understand?

    What about G/R, B/R or other combinations or mono-colors? (I prefer to be playing with at least two colors).
