This is a deck that Exalted Reminded me of. It utilizes Flowstone Helion's ability to trade toughness for power, and the dreadnoght's power and toughness.

Works like this: Tap G (survival) or 2 (shapeshifter) to discard the hellion. Put its ability on the stack 10-11 times, then discard the dreadnought resuling in a 22/2 or a 23/1 depending on how man times you stacked the ability. Swing for the win with just 1 shapeshifter.

I have seen a variant of this that used Cephalid Inkshrouder instead of the hellion and Phage, the Untouchable instead of the dreadnought. The result is a untagetable, unblockable Phage shapeshifter. (put the shrouder's ability on the stack, before discarding the Phage.

Quick everyone build a Volrath's shapeshifter deck....they are so much fun!!!!

And it's 1.5 legal! I expect that Survival decks will do very well in the new version of 1.5...

I agree - until survival gets restricted or banned...

And it most likely will due to the amount of decks that will utilize it...

Eh, there will certainly be other good decks, but I hope that rather than banning Survival, they'll unban other cards that can compete with it, like Oath, Replenish, and Land Tax. After all, those cards aren't particularly expensive (Oath might be like $10 or something, but that's the most expensive one). Anyway, Survival probably won't dominate, but if any deck does, it will probably be Survival in some form. ATS and FEB are both looking dangerous right now. I wish I had some Survivals right about now...

Picked up 3 last night... 2 for a multani, and 1 for something minor... I was happy though...

The Survival is also a key card in madness Decks (T1)

Now if only they could have made Articifer's Intuition as broken as Survival.

Of course, A.I. can search up all your moxen by ditching a artifact land or something big for a V. shapeshifter.

I guess wizards thinks that because the artifact you search for can only have a mana cost of 1 or less, that it makes it to a disadvantage. I can think of plenty of things that you could search with it.

wow...I totally missed that.

The main creature of the deck (besides shapeshifter) and I totally forgot about it.

The thing is though exalted, what else can A.I. serach for in your deck?

It would be great if the deck were powered...cause the thing fetches all your power.
