Well, I was playing my all artifact deck and had played a Thought Prison on turn 3 (with a Luminous Angel imprinted :p) and had a guy down to 2 life.

Now I had sacrificed my one Yotan Soldier with Vulshok Gauntlets equipped to kill off a Soul Collector.

He was reduced to a hand full of white cards, and 2 hp. So, I waited it out until I drew my Mindslaver and made him breath of life his vampire back into existence.

This one time, a guy was playing a green deck and showed off two cards in his hand: Crash of Rhinos and Stormseeker, and said "Good card combo!"

True story. The inspiration for Rhinoseeker. :D

Once, on impulse I threw together a deck on Apprentice that was based around Timetwister for a first turn kill. It was pretty good, maybe I should have played with it more to see how to improve it, but anyway...

Hel, Goddess of Death:
4x Timetwister
4x Timewalk
4x Ancestral Recall
4x Mox Pearl
4x Mox Sapphire
4x Mox Jet
4x Mox Ruby
4x Mox Emerald
4x Black Lotus
4x Library of Alexandria
4x Lotus Petal
4x Force of Will
4x Fork
4x Wheel of Fortune
2x Demonic Tutor
1x Tolarian Academy
1x Kaervek's Torch

Well, my normal deck was losing too much, so I asked my opponent if he wanted to play against a proxy deck. He was happy to try out his new Grim Monolith/Power Artifact deck. He would have gotten a second turn kill, but he never got a second turn. Instead, I took turns for over 30 minutes while getting out all my moxes in order to Kaervek's Torch him...

At my second Mirroden draft, my opponent's Rust Elemental was bad... so I placed it under Arrest.

I found that highly amusing.

In one of my last MP games, I was playing train's control deck, Player A had a red haste deck, Player B was playing an affinity deck, and Player C had a black flyer deck.

I had basic control of the game while everyone else had less than 10 life left. Player A decides to cast a Rolling Thunder or other split burn spell (not Fireball) to Player C and himself, taking them out of the game. Player B mana burns right after, just to get it over with and so we could start a new game. :)

Very strange... as Player A had some chance still.

See - Now that's what i like to hear...

And I would like to reinforce the fact, that the deck has no blue in it what-so-ever!!!...

Spidey - What did everyone think of the deck...

and did you tell them there would be a cousin of it running around in about a year?...

 :D

Well, after the first game, Player B asked what it was supposed to do and I said pretty much what it did, control the board. But I lost Game 2 due to Player C concentrating on me.

But I didn't tell them a cousin was in the works :)

That has to be the most popular question on the planet for this deck...

"What's it supposed to do..."

My best answer is telling them that there is better control than blue, and this deck proves it...;)

Doesn't help at the start of the game when everyone's at 20 life... and you go last for winning the last game :)
