I always like to see the older things of Magic coming back. I remember the the first time I saw Serra was getting reprinted I was like------>

Sure she's barely even good anymore, same with poison(if, in fact, it was ever good;))

Just always nice to see that the old stuff hasn't been forgotten.....gives us all the tiniest hope/illusion that they might just reprint Black Lotus:D

I thought I understood Banding......thanks for proving me wrong ya stinky orgg:mad:

And yes, Banding would be death for a lot of creature based decks now a days. Flagbearing Banding deck!?!?!?! *Dementia shivers*

theorgg: You were looking at a 7th rulebook? That leads me to believe that "Bands with X" will be a NEW ability that might behave as you describe, because there hasn't been a change to "Bands With Other" on crystalkeep for a long while.

I have decided to put posion into my set I am creating (check out my website..its called Tankoris).

I am rewording it to just Poison X where X is the number of counters it gives.

I love the idea of another way to win.

Mundungu -- instead of "Mental Poison", why not Psychosis or Phobia?

Spiderman -- thanks for the plug, even if you did misspell my name. k-r-i-c-h-a-i-u-s-h-i-i. ;)

To keep this post in line, I've never had a poison deck, though I have helped build, and later lost to, poison decks.

As for banding, that ability can win some unbelievable games, especially when protection from X is factored in. It makes you wonder, is the Thorn Elemental's damage redirection ability a foreshadowing foil for future banding cards/decks/themes?

Just a thought.

Yes. It was the official Unrelesed to the general public version of the seventh edition of the rulebook! It was given to lvl 3 and higher judges.

I flipped at how cool the ability actually is...
I think it's probably better than the original banding ability in some ways.

Does that mean that you are a Lvl 3 or higher judge ???
or that you have access to one ?

'cause now you just need the creature type, you don't have to wait for another "band" creature.

It'll still confuse people though... if they don't have it now, they'll still need to get it then :)
