The Hall of Fame game was today, so that means that it's officially time for football! I was wondering how many people here follow it and what teams you all like or think will do well this year.

Go Browns!

Hash browns?

Oh..wait...no.

You are talking about big sweaty dumb guys crashing into each other in order to move a malformed orb from one palce to another place without being hit by another dumb guy.

Browns win a division championship? Aren't we a bit confident? They've got the Titans, the Ravens(the former Browns), AND the Steelers to compete with. No offense, but in my opinion, they'll be lucky to grab a Wild Card.

The only team I'm going to be watching is Seattle. They put on an impressive season last year and I have always liked them.

The Seahawks are doing OK?
Crap!
In each major professional sport, I pick a team randomly and root for them for no reason.
The only condition is that the team has to be either bad, or very far away from where I live; preferably both. (For instance, I root the for Oakland Athletics.)
But now that the Seahawks stand a remote chance of winning I'm probably going to have to pick a new team...

Hmm...

Do the Chargers still suck?

I'm not a fan of sports. But when the Ravens won, it was quite amusing to watch all those cars with those little flags on them in Baltimore.

Apollo: -16. If they're lucky.

TICM: Not really, the Chargers had arguably the best draft in the league. Root for the Panthers of Carolina!

My son in law is a Browns fan so I won't say anything derogatory about them. But I think their chances to win their division are pretty slim. Living in Toledo, Ohio I really enjoy the choices we have. The Browns, Bengals, Lions all the great teams are there. So who do I root for.... the Raiiders. Good Luck to the Browns

Ransac: I was being sarcastic. The Browns wouldn't be lucky to win the Wild Card, they'd be lucky to win 5 games.

But the least you all could have done is humor me...:(

The Browns might have a random chance of winning 8 games.

Hopefully the Patriots will do much better this year.

Sorry, Apollo. I guess I didn't catch the sacarism. I'm too big of a football fan to not give my honest opinion of each team, however.

Like the Patriots, their worst play was trading Curtis Martin to the Jets. That man has a great future to look for, providing he stays away from injury.

Five years ago, I would've told you that Rashaan Salaam was going to be the next Emmitt Smith. Unfortunately, he ended up always getting hurt and, thus, was dropped from the NFL. He got to play earlier this year for the XFL(god, Vince McMahon actually had a stupid idea), but now that's gone too. Poor Rashaan.

Sigh...:(

Are you people incapable of sympathy? Is even simple pity above you? I am a poor soul, a desperate fan of a pathetic team, and instead of consoling me you choose to crush my pitiful hopes and dreams. Would it have really hurt you to humor my delusional ideas? Or at least reserve comment?

I hate you all (except the person that said they'd win by 6).

I'm a Bears fan, and they're an even worse team than the Browns.

The good news is, after watching them stink the joint up for about a month hockey season begins...

Go BLACKHAWKS!

I've always rooted for the Redskins, although I've been chuckling at their predicament these past few years.

After that I've been following the Ravens only because they're my home team and that's what the greatest coverage is about in the papers.
