Fish/Hunter

Someone here mentioned a Deck using Seahunter with a Merfolk /Lord of Atlantis/Lingering Mirage combo.

The following is My attempt.
I added the credit Vouchers for search. Beside's the the obvious "Synengy's " (Just trying to fit in) of Fish/Lord/Mirage, its just basic Blue Weenie. I'm trying to keep this a simple to play, beatdown type deck. I could use some wisdom.

4 Sandbar Merfolk (cycling)
4 Lord of Atlantis
4 Seahunter
4 Coral Merfolk
2 Morphling
3 Credit Voucher
3 Lingering Mirage (cycling)
4 Daze
4 Counterspell
2 Miscalculation
2 Prosperity (I don't Know If this is a real good Choice, But I figured with Credit Voucher it could work)

4 Rishadan Port
19 Island

Sideboard:
4 Seal of Removal
3 Arcane Laboratory
3 Hibernation
2 Mana Short
3 Misdirection

Thanks

Where are they? I also am of big fan of Brainstorm and use them in the deck instead of Credit Vouchers. The Darting Merfolk could be used also. I am not a big fan of Daze. I would probably do 4 Miscalculation and 2 Thwart.

Ok, Brainstorm sounds good. It will work real nice with Seahunter's shuffle (why didn't I think of that [me] smacks self in head[/me]).

I thought about Rootwater Theif, but I couldn't decide what to drop for them. I like the cycling of Sandbar Merfolk and the 2 power of Coral Merfolk in the U cc slot.

I have to have the Lord's of Atlantis, and the Seahunters. Morphling I think is just to good not to have.

I don't think I can afford to drop any counter spells.

Card drawing, I'm going to drop the
-3 Credit Vouchers and the
-2 Prosperity's and go with
+4 Brainstorms

That leaves
+1 open slot. Maybe I could drop
-1 Sandbar Merfolk, and
-1 Coral Merfolk, Then add
+3 Rootwater Thief's
That would still leave Me 6 U cc critters.

Heres what it looks like now.

3 Sandbar Merfolk (cycling)
4 Lord of Atlantis
4 Seahunter
3 Coral Merfolk
3 Rootwater Thief
2 Morphling
4 Lingering Mirage (cycling)
2 Thwart
4 Counterspell
4 Miscalculation
4 Brainstorm

4 Rishadan Port
19 Island

Sideboard:
4 Seal of Removal
3 Arcane Laboratory
3 Hibernation
2 Mana Short
3 Misdirection

What do You think?

Damn, I thought I was going to come up with something a little more unique, but it just looks like a Wheel of Fish Variant to Me, Oh well. I'll Take a shot at Moggcatcher next.

I wonder if Gaea's Cradle would work in this deck. It powers
up the Rebels, so why not fish. It may not be a good choice
for this deck sense the Hunter is the only real search but
it might help to cast an early Morphling.

Just a thought.

What about Tidal Warrior? A merfolk that can turn turn target land into an island for a turn.

Just a thought.

The Parallax Tides and costal piracy are good Ideas. But the cloudskates get away from merfolk. Your deck has four seahunters to fetch 6 merfolk hardly seems to worth including them.
